We are a parent-led nonprofit pioneering a new model of community living—one that brings together individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and support networks into a thoughtfully designed, inclusive neighborhood in Southwest Snohomish County. Our focus is on creating affordable, owner-occupied housing that provides both independence and the security of built-in care.
Our vision is to develop a vibrant, integrated community inspired by the success of dementia villages across Europe and around the world. Rather than isolating individuals who require additional care, this model places them at the heart of a connected neighborhood where they can live alongside family, friends, and caregivers in a natural, supportive environment.
At the center of the community will be six adult family homes, surrounded by a secure apartment building offering a range of housing options—from studios to four-bedroom units—designed to accommodate individuals, families, and caregivers alike. Approximately 25% of residents will require ongoing care and supervision, ensuring that support is always nearby while maintaining the balance and feel of a welcoming, diverse neighborhood.
